As a mother, I could not raise my son Kainoa without doing something about two major issues: Human Connection and Plastic that is destroying our oceans and is so toxic to our lives. Powered By Saltwater was created to integrate these two issues and be a symbol of change. So in our trash room at our home, while Kainoa napped, I continued on this venture to create this brand as a symbol to make this world a better place. I had no idea what I was doing as I sat there next to my recycle bins but I had a feeling in my gut that I had the opportunity to make change.
Powered By Saltwater is a human based Lifestyle Brand, freeing the world from the grasp of technology, through symbolizing and promoting Human Connection. A brand to identify as a symbol to remind us to put down the cell phone and take a walk with loved ones, shut down the computer and read our children a story, stop tweeting and watch the sunset. Connecting back to ourselves, connecting back to each other, Through our love of the ocean we promote this connection, through love, it is all possible. The love we are able to have for one another is great and can move oceans, we just need to unlock this within ourselves.
With my connections to people throughout the world, and being in a very unique place in Kailua, HI. I was able to promote Powered By Saltwater, develop a market, and flow our brand all by word of mouth and writing
stories like this one. From the Obama's, to professors at universities,
business owners in Tokyo, Australia, Greece, local families in Molokai,
lawyers, doctors, teachers, surfers, dads, moms, and people from all walks
of life, all identifying with our brand, and continuing to promote the hallmarks of what we were founded on.
Writing this I am hoping that our vibes will attract our tribe and more of you can join our collective for change, to spread positivity and love in every corner. Promoting Human Connection Through Love of The Ocean!
